Auction archive FAQ

Do cars sell for less at auction in South Carolina?

Sometimes, and it is worth measuring rather than assuming. The final bids here are all from South Carolina yards, so compare them with the same model elsewhere in the archive before you decide where to buy.

Why would I care which South Carolina yard a car sold from?

Because transport is real money. A cheap final bid at a distant South Carolina yard can cost more delivered than a dearer one nearby, and the location is printed on every auction record.

Are these South Carolina auction results current?

They are the final bids these South Carolina auctions actually closed at, with the sale date on each lot. Weight the recent ones more heavily when you build a comparison.
